"A lot of people talk about American exceptionalism. I’m a firm believer in American exceptionalism. You know why I am? It’s because of folks like this,”
“It’s because we don’t run and hide when there’s a problem. It’s because we don’t react to our fears, but instead we respond with common sense and skill and courage.
That’s the best of our history – not fear, not hysteria, not misinformation; we act clearly and firmly even when others are losing their heads. That’s part of the reason why we’re effective. That’s part of the reason why people look to us.”

They're not even trying to make him look smart any more. They just let him ad lib and sound like a total moron.

Unlike his Vice President who declared that if Republicans won the election, that slavery would come back to America. Thank God we have rational and calm Democrat leaders like that.

I guess he needed to be more subtle than the past "clinging to guns and religion" and "the enemy"...
Because of course, those weren't blame or exaggerations at all!

I see that he used two white coats as props again for the speech. Did his handlers find a couple of left over coats down in the WH prop room (stored after the Obamacare rollout speech in the Rose Garden)? He could have just used balloons instead.

As Forrest Forrest Gump would say "I'm not a smart man......." He's going to be around for another couple of years, but in reality somebody has already stuck a fork in him.
