Note how illegal aliens and so-called refugee children are called "immigrants"? With that dishonesty I question the validity and the sources that were posted.

I think right wingers want the border patrol to enforce the law, not to violate the constitutional rights of the people. There is a huge difference.

They all qualify as abuse of power. So yes, abuse of power does qualify as a deterrent. Using your logic, shooting people who run a red light would deter you from running a red light. And the Nazis deterred people from becoming Jews too.

No, not at all. You don't need to violate any laws to protect the border. Police abuse is not a by product of any legal activity. It's a by product of an agency that thinks they are above the law.
