in other words only repealing parts of the bill that benefit dem cronies, but government meddling in the healthcare sector remains.

Buy stock in popcorn. Can't wait to see those 300 bills the republican Congress approved to defund, strip, repeal Obamacare come back to light.

Oh is this the "republican" victory ya'll were talking about?!?! This is the "republican" thrashing?! No repeal of Obamacare and no impeachment? What happened to all of that talk...funny how much difference a day makes. Hahaha! Now what was this election and the anti-Obama hate REALLY about?

Are you sure about that? Democrats did well in 2012 after ACA had gone into effect. Today more people have insurance than before ACA went into effect.

With that being said, there are parts in it that large majorities of people like and it would be politically stupid to just take those parts away without some alternative. Sometimes you have to be pragmatic.
I agree with this. I think there are some people that always want the two parties to push to extremes but the right path, the correct one, is one built on basic pragmatism.

The average Tea Partier is wallowing in $10,000 of gubbermint health care benefits. Hard to find a Tea Partier who isnt on Medicare, Tricare, VA, Medicaid, SS, various gubbermint disablities, etc.. The Tea Party supports $900 billion of gubbermint health care spending but they suddenly have a problem with $16 billion in subsidies. When the country goes bankrupt the trail of evidence will lead to the Tea Party and trillions of dollars of gubbermint benefits they never paid for.

Now I am arguing they will not live up to their promises and it will hurt them. I'm rooting for it to be crippled in the Supreme Court as I support national health care. (in a way I've explained many times)

Do you have anything else to say? This is the ONLY thing you seem to say on any thread no matter the subject. What does this have to do with the topic at hand????
