Notably, a full repeal of Obamacare was not on his mind, but rather a partial repeal through the appropriations process
in other words only repealing parts of the bill that benefit dem cronies, but government meddling in the healthcare sector remains.

The affordable care act was signed into law in March 2010. By the time the newly elected officials take power, it will have been nearly 5 years since the law was signed into effect. You cant just dwell on something forever. Eventually you have to move on.

It's causing a bunch of problems and most people still don't support it.

With that being said, there are parts in it that large majorities of people like and it would be politically stupid to just take those parts away without some alternative. Sometimes you have to be pragmatic.

McConnell will be digging his party a hole if he decided to dwell on this issue.

40+ times the House has put forth a bill to repeal the entire bill without anything to replace it or leaving in certain sections. It will be interesting to see if they continue that approach. A full repeal was never on the table.

Defund it. Take away the tax penalties and the subsidies.

Then see how much even the leeches like paying for Trannies to get free sex change operations.

The problem with ObamaCare is it was shoved down everyone's throat by while short sighted, stupid and vindictive democrats chanted "Your side lost".

The GOP ran and won on repealing Obamacare. The problem will be if they do not do something about it. It all may be moot though depending on how the Supreme Court rules.
