Exactly. Republicans (you know, the party of fiscal responsibility ) spent millions on a witch hunt for some way to tie the Clintons to Whitewater, some land deal. They found nothing. Nothing. But they kept at it, kept authorizing money because...there's got to be something, anything they could do to get that Bill Clinton! Well they found out about the affair, got him to deny it and then spent millions on Ken Starr. Hey, it's only taxpayer money.

When Obama was elected, the Republican party decided the best way to overcome Democrats was to oppose Obama on everything, the country be damned. And that's what they've done. They had the presidency, brought the country to its knees, then blamed it on Obama.

This is how insane and dishonest Republicans are:

If all they do is redefine full time as 40 hours again, instead of the "new improved" 30 hours, that alone will help.

Congress should spend there time on issues where they have mutual agreement, creating bills that will surely end in a veto is a waste of time. Compromise is the answer but the extreme right Tea Party members will have their say. Mitch McConnell and Boehner have their work cut out for them trying to appease the extreme factions in their party, both need to make statements to please the crazies or they won't get anywhere. Some Tea Party members saw the government shutdown as a success story, how do you begin to negotiate with those people.

Speaking as an independent conservative here.

There will not be any impeachment. At least not in an "official" manner. But now the majority will have easier access to the information that is being hidden.

Exposure of the true corruption and blatantly treasonous activity will cause any Americans of any moral turpitude to personally impeach him, and likely the entire democratic party along with him. Hearts and minds are a difficult thing to win back after they have been betrayed. 11/04/14 is an indicator of such.

Yes because we all know that is what government is for..........
Remember when the leader of the Democrat party said; "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country."

Obama was very magnanimous after he was elected in wanting to not go into Bush investigations. But if Republicans think a witch hunt like the one for Bill Clinton is what they want to do for the next two years, then let's open up the books on the Bush presidency. How much did they really know about Katrina? Why is it that Walmart could make it into New Orleans but Bush couldn't? Did the Bush administration wait quietly while people were drowning? You want investigations? Let 'er rip because the entire Bush administration is ripe for the picking. Let's compare how many died in the Iraq war vs. Benghazi. Let's compare the hypocrisy of people not receiving health care in the US while Bush provided health care to the citizens of Iraq. Why did literally pallets of money disappear during the Iraq war? There is so much to learn.
