I actually find her to be quite a despicable person. She has been such an opponent to gay rights and gay marriage and here she is married to a white man. If interracial marriage was left up to popular vote it would not be legal. Mia Love is a living embodiment of hypocrisy. You are entitled to your own views but Mia Love should know more than anyone that people's rights shouldn't be up to popular vote or held to some religious standard.

Minor stuff compared to what the president has faced. She's a black woman in a party that has denigrated and demonized her race pretty relentlessly, especially during the last six years. She better have a thick skin--she's going to need it. More to ward against members of her own party than from the opposition.

She has been a Republican for more than 6 years and she doesn't agree with Obama but it's not because he is black. She will get more racist remarks from the Dems than anyone else.
