The others put honor and brotherhood before money, but obviously you equate greed and selfishness with intelligence.

Honor is not something one can take to the grocery store to pay the bill, however. Honor is also highly subjective to the individual. What someone else finds honorable I might not, and vice versa. I don't find it honorable to respect the wishes of a government who doesn't treat you the same back. If they want to believe that keeping their mouth shut is honorable, even in the face of the lack of care they get after they leave, then so be it. What they consider honor, I consider foolishness.

I am sorry you equate honor with foolishness.

One would have to be an idiot to trust you with proprietary information, let alone classified information.

Tell that to the people who divulged classified information to the hollywood people who made "Zero Dark Thirty". Why does the US trust Barack Obama with classified information when it is being reported that he has been communicating with Iran behind the back of Congress???

At Naval Special Warfare's core is the SEAL ethos,....`I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions.'

Rick Woolard, a former SEAL team commander who previously urged his comrades to avoid discussing recent operations, said, active-duty SEALs are "pretty much very disappointed and I'd have to say angry with guys who have used their deeds and those of their companions for personal gain."

I fail to see how telling the story on how he shot Osama in the head should be classified information. How exactly does that protect anyone? I don't see what they do as honorably obviously. There is no honor in being bent over a log and then respecting the wishes of the person who did it.

I'm pretty sure just as many don't care either. What I don't get is why people care so much about this. He is not the first former SEAL to pen a novel about his experiences.

That is why you are not a Navy SEAL.
