Our President (still in denial over election results) says "for the 2/3s who didn't vote, I hear you too" (just what it is he heard is unknown). I notice highest turnout was in states where Republicans won strongly contested races, i.e. Maine, Wisconsin, Iowa, Maryland, Colorado. All over 50% turnout. To be fair, just over 50% also voted in MN where electorate here consider Al Franken a U.S. Senator (yikes!). Voters in Minnesota have also elected a dog and a 9 year old boy to public office in 2014 so go figure!

Yep. They keep trying to claim that turnout was low, and that's why they lost! Any excuse but the truth will do, I guess.

If they lost because turn out was low that means they didn't care enough to vote. That's a poor excuse for losing. We didn't care enough to participate in voting... What that says is they don't care.

You are exactly right..I think a lot of dems wanted a change as well as the repubs and instead of helping elect repubs or helping to put the same idiots back in office that have accomplished nothing good at all, they stayed home..I voted local only,so yeah..I'm part of the problem
