Except people like you aren't satisfied with transforming your own state's gun culture, you want to change it everywhere.
Actually, what you do in your state is fine by me. That's why I wish Tall Traveler the best. There's plenty of states that love guns and will welcome him happily.

They also support background checks as well, so what's the problem, it is their state and the voters in that state decided what was right for them.
Wisconsin and Texas support voter ID so what's the problem? Why would the attorney generals from liberal states join a federal lawsuit to block voter ID laws in states that support voter ID?

Gotta make sure a law isn't designed to discriminate, voter ID laws can easily be designed to discriminate.

"The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter." - Winston Churchill
Actually, only 60% of voters decided what was best for the entire state. Those 60% of people who voted YES on I-594 do not have the Right to infringe on the Constitutionally protected Rights of the 40% who voted NO on the initiative..... See, that's the difference between a Constitutional Republic and a Democracy. In a Constitutional Republic, the Rights of the minority are protected from the whims of the majority.....
Regardless, this fight isn't over. I'll guarantee you there will be court challenges. Not to mention that the legislature I believe can repeal or amend any initiative passed by the voters after two years. What will result is anybody's guess, but it isn't over.

You are talking about a 20% difference, some times votes are just that votes where the majority wins the vote. Who said it was "over" but the people of Washington voted on this and the majority supported it.
I get that you don't like that the majority of voters in Washington disagree with you, but that doesn't change the outcome of the vote.
Because WA State is a part of the U.S. correct? I care about the Rights of all Americans.
Not only that but what you do in WA State sets precedents. I don't want the liberal disease to spread and infect my state.
Think of it like Ebola..... We have to fight it over there, to keep it from spreading over here.....
So if it is something you like then it is State's Rights and a state should be able to make its own choices, but if it is something that you don't like, then you are all concerned and think people outside of that state should be able to tell them what to do.
