I think the costs of renewable energy will come down as the technology advances. Wind is already among the cheapest you can get. I'm really glad the US and China are taking emissions seriously, I think creating a sustainable way of life and getting away from fossil fuels is important regardless of your beliefs on global warming.
China is one of the largest producers of greenhouse gases and look how ****ty their air quality is.

..... and the libs will be the first to complain about the impact of high energy prices on the middle class and poor, despite their causing the problem.

Liberals- the biggest enemy of the poor and middle class. With carbon taxes, regulations, NAFTA, China most favored nation trade status and Obamacare taxes, one wonders if all of the "help" that liberals provide will essentially eliminate the middle class once and for all.

It's all going toward the extremist liberal goal of an elite political class ruling over all the poor rabble. A middle class is a burden.

Yawn... just another canned "I can't defend against logic, math or reality so I will post something vague" liberal response.

Just consider that the owners of the energy resources and their products are unlikely to be Liberal or Progressive. These same people set energy prices for their own long term benefit. Current petroleum price drops are designed to drive new sources of petroleum off the market.
