Lets not forget that this was no innocent child walking home from school. He was a thug who just finished robbing a convenience store, threatening the owner when confronted and assaulting a police officer. Whether the shooting was justified or not, the world is a better place without people like Michael Brown.
Body cameras, Independent Investigative agencies (no more investigating themselves), and increased public defender funding are a start.
We also need more laws on the books protecting citizens from Police.
I don't have any issue with most of those items.
...so when another thug robs store, gets shot by a cop when he fights with him after the cop attempts to place him under the arrest, and the body camera proves that the officer was justified, all the people in the streets in Ferguson will be cool with that, including the people with the bloods colors on?
Or is it really about something more? Like, a basic belief that laws should not apply to you because of past injustice?

IT DOESN'T MATTER.... BROWN RESISTED AND ATTACKED THE COP AS BACKED UP BY MANY WITNESSES WHO ARE ALSO BLACK 1 OF WHICH HAS NOW BEEN MURDERED
ONCE YOU ATTACK A COP, YOU CAN EXPECT TO MEET FORCE
Do you have the link to your statement (bolded)? I read the initial report of the victim being found shot & burned near the Brown shooting site, however no mention of who he was or if the murder was tied to the Brown case.
You want the brutal truth now? Nothing - absolutely nothing - will be accomplished from them because of the rioting that happened right after the no bill announcement. If you want to see any changes, whether it be body cameras or whatever, you need to win the hearts and minds of the American people. Rioting is not the answer and that's what people now associate with this case. So, protest away - it will do no good.
Fair enough. I would also add, if you see a thug committing a crime or harming a citizen, stop and record it.
Make sure the criminal knows they are being watched, and their actions are being recorded, and they are accountable (or if your afraid of the criminal, skip the letting them know part and do it secretly).
Maybe we can still be saved from becoming a total state of lawlessness and anarchy.
Of course we would also have to do something about our justice system's revolving door policy when it comes to repeat criminals.
