I did not say that. I am not an advocate of removal of all guns by any means. More guns means more gun violence....I don't know how anyone can dispute that. No more different than more cars on the street mean more car accidents.

What are you advocating?

For purposes of this thread I am advocating nothing. Just making an observation. I'm not being coy, but questions of gun control laws can be rather complicated in some regards. I support reasonable gun control laws but that discussion is for another thread.

I am keeping up, I'm just not seeing any proof of your logic.

You can't compare car accidents which aren't intentional and not always due to human failure to gun violence which is an intentional act done by a person(s).

We will make a note of it.
"Reasonable" is an elastic term that has no place in the removal of basic individual rights.

It either did or it didn't. A real study wouldn't still be questioning whether it did or didn't. Are these researchers unable to read statistics?
"Are these researchers unable to read statistics?"

They ARE still students. What do you expect?

This is the old guns are 'no different' than knives, rocks, baseball bats argument.

Guns are a BETTER tool to be used in crime which is pretty much why it is the tool of choice for committing crime.

And if you want to argue different then you need to quit using the "bringing a knife to a gunfight" argument because it confirms that guns are a better tool.

Thank you.
And guns are often times the better tool for an individual to defend person or property.
