please do not call it climate change, as climate change has been on the planet earth since the planet was born, and shall be here until the planet dies.

what you are saying in your thread is that here are the global warming deniers.

since most people do not believe in global warming and you hope to convince people of your lies, you now call it climate change as not many people believe in the global warming myth.

I agree, climate change is not a hoax, but global warming is a hoax, perpetuated on the american people to get the government backing into the taxation of global warming.

this subject should be removed from all government ties and the people should not have to pay for scientists lying so they can get more federal funding.

By the same token, Al Gore is not a scientist; he's a divinity school dropout.

Anyway it's interesting watching the actions of China when it comes to global warming. They burn something like 50% of coal that is burned in the world, and coal burning accounts for approx 40% of CO2 emissions. The recent agreement w/ Pres Obama says that they will 'limit' CO2 emissions such that they peak around 2030. A Cal Berkley study suggest that this 'limit' is roughly what would have happened anyway.

The Chinese don't seem to be very worried about global warming. They are more worried about smog.

India would also have to be on board in any war on global warming. They are ranked 5th in coal reserves and have a large population still without access to electricity.

Where do you come up with this nonsense? 73% of Americans are convinced that global warming is happening, and 69% believe it is caused by human activities, plus 48% of Americans believed that global warming is already having dangerous impacts on people... These numbers are taken from a Yale/Gallup poll.

It is likely, though, that earth has warmed less than many official temperature records indicate for a variety of reasons, including: few long-term records from either the southern hemisphere or the 71 percent of the planet that is covered by water; distortions from the urban heat-island effect and other faulty siting (e.g., temperature sensors next to asphalt parking lots, etc.; the decline in weather station reports from Siberia after the fall of the Soviet government; the arbitrarily ceasing to include measurements from northern latitudes and high elevations, etc.) The most accurate measures of temperature come from satellites. Since the start of these measurements in 1979, they show minor fluctuations and an insignificant net change in global temperature.
