On the contrary, Islamists have beheaded, tortured and raped since their beginning in the 7th century.
The modern change is the usage of apologists to convince liberals that their murdering ways are because of the west.

He just said he converted to try to prevent what happened....no sane person would convert to religion such as that...they are the biggest source of evil in the world today.

I think some of you should be ashamed of your insensitive comments.

First of all, Peter was a former Army Ranger who put his life on the line for this country.

Secondly, Peter was a humanitarian who worked to save the lives of Syrians injured and dispossessed by war.

Not our problem.
It isn't Israel's problem as this isn't happening in a country with a direct border with Israel. It is the USA's problem as they are beheading American citizens (not Israeli citizens).

The fact that they (Saudi, Turkey, Jordan) haven't lifted a finger tells me exactly how "serious" this whole charade is. It's 1000x more their fight than it is ours.
Exactly, and let alone Iraq. Iraq has a population of 30 million-ISIS, some 50k according to what I have read. Outnumbered 600 to one. Does anyone actually believe that the Muslim population of these countries actually opposes ISIS?

Was past time to get Americans out of the ME. Nothing and no one worth the sacrifice of the life of an American serviceman.

Rumor has it that the US military going there will wear sneakers so as to avoid having boots on the ground.

By this time next year, there will be thousands of US troops involved in active warfare there.

You raise a good point, one I generally endorse.

The issue with Israel though is that their bombing of anybody generally just garners the target sympathy, especially in the middle east.

Israel will deal with them if they start messing with Israel but until then bombing them would accomplish little besides boosting their recruiting efforts and maybe getting ISIS some cash donations from Iran. lol.

Just last week John Stewart was torching Obama over his broken promises about that.

A few months back NPR was torching the Obama admin over pressuring US news outlets not to talk about ISIS making any gains or growing in power. The news out of Iraq was to only be positive.
