Conversion doesn't save you from the sword.

Why Peter Kassig’s conversion to Islam didn’t save him

Sorry, but that's what I think of every time I hear that one of these poor people converted to Islam in captivity. We're they somewhat willing pawns?
Yep. He went over there & converted. Too bad, so sad.

I watched the video today where the other hostages were 'beheaded" and the whole thing looked staged. Out come strangely hirsute ISIS ? members each leading a prisoner, all clean, crisp, nice hair styles, and in slow mo. Each one grabs a ginso style knife, and marches grimly forward with music in the background. No ISIS flag. No shouts to "Allah." Peter's head was covered in blood, yet the other people who were 'killed" had clean faces. Makes you wonder. Fake Hollywood wanna be production. Again, the neck slices, some fake blood, and supposed beheadings. Then, I went to youtube and viewed several videos about how to fake a decapitation, cut a neck, make a VERY realistic silicone head, and it was very convincing. Don't believe everything you see. ISIS is about as Muslim as a woolly mammoth.

The "Jihadi John" looked a little different. The eyes weren't quite the same. These presentations are identical. Parents pleading, giving happy interviews, Media ready in a moment to extoll the virtues of each victim before their bodies are even verified as dead. People who are about to have their heads cut off all as calm as cucumbers ? A daughter calling her father 'David" in an interview instead of dad or father. Beheadings get the public riled to a white hot fury. The Washington warmongers love for the populace to get riled, and go along with More war. Try not to be so eager to trust your leaders.

Not our problem.
It's been our problem since 9-11. They seriously wanted our attention and they won't let us back out. ISIS reared their ugly head when Obama announced troop withdrawals. It is our problem as they insist on our participation. Shoot, they won't have it any other way.

Hide and watch.

ISIS, and the Jihad is a U.S. problem because the U.S. keeps on interfering in the Middle East needlessly. The Jihad attacked the U.S., particularly 9/11, due to what the U.S. does in the Middle East. The U.S. motivates its own enemy through its foreign policy by supporting tyranny (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, etc...), interfering needlessly in Middle Eastern conflicts (Syria, Libya, Israel/Palestine, Iraq), and by supporting the Israelis. Best thing the U.S. can do is get out of there and cut of aid to all of them, including Israel.

What were we doing in the middle east prior to 9-11? I ask, because I don't believe we were doing anything in the ME or to the ME. I realize some one had to have done something to tick 'em off, so what was it?

Every time we announce troop withdrawals, 'it hits the fan over there and our military does an about face.

Coincidence? Because I believe they do it on purpose so as to drain our economy by making us pay out additional military funding.

It isn't about bodies piling up, not this war, its about depleting a countries resources, ie transportation that took a huge hit when they used airplanes as weapons.

A lot, as mentioned in my previous post. The U.S. has supported tyranny in the Middle East for the past roughly seventy years by overthrowing governments for oil (Iran 1953), supporting oppressive regimes (Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Bahrain, UAE, Pakistan, The Shah in Iran, Saddam Hussein in Iraq, Qaddafi in Libya). In some of Anwar al Laki's speeches he talks about the U.S. doing this.Causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis in the 90's due to U.S. bombing and sanctions. OBL stated in his declaration of war against the U.S. was U.S. support for Israel. in the Israel/Palestine conflict. All of these things motivated Bin Laden and company to attack the U.S. in the late 90's and to pull off 9/11. The Jihad attacks the U.S. for what we do in the Middle East, not because of our way of life, or other lies like that the politicians state.

You are absolutely right on draining our resources, this was one of OBL's goals to destroy or force the U.S. out of the region, by bankrupting it, and the U.S. continues to be the fool.

Thank you for your response and thank you so much for being nice about it.

I know it seems like from my question that I must have been living on Mars and well in a sense, yes. I didn't know who Tiger Woods was until the sports commentator said, golf pro. On that note....

There were a few things that came to mind (which is hard at this hour and no sleep) after I made my post, however, nothing of which you have said in your response. I was thinking oil deals and (Iran Contra, didn't have time to follow it) weapon deals. I am looking at the key players you have mentioned and a bit of disagreement is formulating, however....

At this hour all I can state with certainty is this situation isn't going to go away any time soon.
