Subsidy + mandate + no underwriting = Romneycare = ACA

Those are the core pieces of both bills. Everything else is window dressing.

I will add conservatives love Medicare, Tricare, VA, and Medicaid for seniors or how it applies to them. They dont have a problem with another 18 trillion of healthcare spending between 2015-2024. But try to spend $1 trillion in subsidies for 25 million Americans and they have a fit. Apparently $18 trillion is good socialism but means testing a healthcare plan is bad. Somebody should have made it almost free..then conservatives would support it.

I don't think you know what economic activity is.

Enough with the Conservative have not put forward any options. Thet have, and tomy understanding they are all repeal and replace. This sucker is like a rund-down house. No point in trying to remodel it. Tear the thing down and start from scratch. We can retain some of the dearly beloved heirlooms, but by and large it is mostly junk.

HR2300 is the main one. Has around 58 co-sponsors. Been voted on and passed by the House a couple of times, 112th and 113th Congress. John McCain, I believer introduced the Senate version, (18??), but Harry never allowed debate on either. Go crazy. Plenty out there.

The difference is that most (not all) Medicare recipients have paid taxes throughout their working years to enjoy those benefits. Obamacare is a massive entitlement programs, some of whose recipients have not sufficiently put $$ into the system.

"Entitlement" program refers to programs where people have paid in and are thus entitled to the benefits. You have your wording backwards.
