Bombs.

This one is strange. Why did the shooter return to his Alma Matter? He had long since graduated and moved thousands of miles away. Why return there to open fire? I realize this man may have lost his mind, I am just curious what happened.

This young man obviously had some serious mental issues despite being highly functional. Of course when race is involved, Republicans get unglued because of their consistently ignorant and backwards view on the matter.

I feel for the victims and their families.

That was the #1 thing that stood out to me. A former student returning for this. I had to consider maybe said person was expelled, but then it was mentioned that he was a lawyer. Now it is a mystery.

Yes. I think this case is a bit different than all the other school shootings. You have a highly educated professional returning to his college to commit this shooting. What I am curious about is what is in those packages. He clearly thought he was being targeted by the government and I have read that they some suspected some packages contained thumb drives, etc. which would make more sense for someone who is/is thought to be delusional. I am very curious WHY he thought he was being targeted.

To crack this case, what would the government want with a lawyer, if he feels that he was targeted by the government?

I don't necessarily believe the government was targeting him but he thought they were. I was wondering if he didn't stumble onto something locally, as a prosecutor where someone felt threatened by something he found or thought he found? Just throwing ideas out there. Or he could have been batchit crazy or something in between.
