An ambassador in a foreign country where a dictator has just been deposed, naïve doesn't come to mind. Very courageous representing his country especially leaving the embassy under those conditions, he was a professional and I give him credit for risking his life.
Agreed, which is why turning this into some smoking gun anti-Obama crusade is sick and disrespectful to their service.
The house report (which had every motivation to find wrongdoing) cleared the administration. Done is done.
I am not a right winger. I am a person with common sense who is aware of what happened in Benghazi. If you don't like that I coundn't care less. I will post as I please. I have no obligation to you. Do you get that?
You have no interest in posting anything resembling the truth, either. Your posts in this thread are based on nothing but your personal animosity towards this administration. And yeah, everyone reading here gets that.
Others say it did. Can you prove them to be liars?
Got anything other than some blog post to back up your claims? No, I didn't think so. Until you can cite some credible sources instead of simply repeating long debunked tripe, you are not worth any more of my time.
You can go on and on trying to malign me. You are zero to me so carry on. It doesn't change the fact that the mother of Sean Smith and other people involved continue to state that these men were left to die. A finding by a committee does not discount their opinions or mine. You will just have to deal with that.
As do I, but I am sure he never thought he would be denied when he requested additional security. It turned out that he was naive to trust this Administration to protect him and others. If he had considered the track record of the Obama administration, he should have known that they were committed only to political expedience.
There are security requests that go unanswered in embassies, this was a request for security in an outpost in a country with a deposed leader where they relied on local militia for defense, very high risk. He was an experienced state department employee or maybe something else, he knew the risks perfectly well. He lived went out on his own when in Benghazi, he could have been killed very easily at any time. The embassies in the ME are dangerous assignments, outposts in countries in turmoil are very high risk.
Well I do have a problem believing this because of my inherit distrust of both sides. The Adminstration would of been better served if they come clean in the beginning. Especially with the dodge ball tactic that Clinton and Obama played.
The people on the ground do have a different take on this.
It was however the duty of the congress to have over sight of the Executive and State Department to ensure this Security matter was handled. But this goes to show these days security should always be taken seriously and have Marines do their job.
Or there was a secret deal made behind close doors to Protected a failed President and Clinton. We will never know.
Looks like the White House May be truthful for a change, but It does not excuse Obama from Leading from behind.
I don't know how we can even assume the adminstration was truthful when they admitted that the story put out there by Susan Rice was a mistake.
