You say "get your head out of the past" and then you go on to say that Native Americans arn't really native Americans because they emigrated to the continent 9,000 to 16,000 years ago.

What a load of road apples you're peddling.

In other words..."it's ok if we do it, but it's wrong when they do it." Just like how Europe carved up Africa and the Americas....and let's not forget that Manifest Destiny thing.

I'm not saying this type of immigration is "good" but history has a way of repeating itself. We didn't follow or respect traditional Native American customs regarding land ownership (it doesn't really belong to anyone). We simply moved with diseases and guns and decided that our way of life will prevail. How is that any different from Latinos coming here and saying the same thing?

It's not different, except that now you're getting your a** bit instead of the other way around.

Well, if there are people arguing "this party is hurting you", then there has to be another political party doing the opposite, which is helping. If one is going to argue, "this thing will hurt you", then such person should present "but this will help you". If neither party is suppose to help, then why have this discussion about political parties?

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? I said that there were no immigration laws back when the Europeans came here. In today's modern world every country has immigration laws. So no, there is no comparison between the Europeans coming here legally long ago and Latinos or other foreigners coming here illegally today. WTH is "we"? Those people are all dead now. We aren't them and they aren't us! Go dig up some dead European and cry to them then. By the way, Mestizos are also half European from their ancestoral Spanish roots. The Spanish were not any different than any other European group who came here long ago if you want to play the blame game.

Also all of the descendants of the tribes that settled within our borders are full fledged U.S. citizens. The tribal ancestors of the Mestizo Mexicans did not and therefore have no right to this country. Thei tribal lands are in Mexico.
