Let's be honest, no white person in this thread really gives a **** about the "black community", heck even using that term makes it seem like African americans are this alien foreign species who are any different from other Americans

I'll agree if you are trying to say that white people seeing the 'black community' as a monolith is an example of prejudice. But I won't agree that no white people care about what happens to black people - that is the same kind of thinking as seeing a singular 'black community'. Don't lump all white people in with people like the OP. There are plenty of people (white and black) who care what happens to other people (white and black). Period.
