I agree strange, but I don't think they are worshiping Putin as much as they admire that Putin seems to love Russia and promotes it.

Obama, I am sad to say, does often seem negative about America, talking down about the country, lecturing people. Constantly saying we "aren't really that great". Not very encouraging, not inspiring. He doesn't like the idea of American's feeling proud of America and I do think that is a very big weakness.

America may not be perfect, but it is FAR better than Obama gives credit for.

Russia is trying to restore it's original state while we are off invading foreign countries that never did anything to the US, very hard for the American people to be inspired with our track record since 2001. I don't hear Obama saying we aren't really that great but a little honesty is refreshing. We are a great country he has stated such many times but owning up to our mistakes rather than covering them up is what makes our country different than places like Russia.

I respect Putin for at least having somewhat of a backbone. He's not a left-wing fascist like the group that is turning this country into a politically correct, anti-white POS country.

One of the great leaders in recent American history, Pat Buchanan, can even recognize why Putin has gained respect.

Quote:
...
With America clearly in mind, Putin declared, “In many countries today, moral and ethical norms are being reconsidered.”

“They’re now requiring not only the proper acknowledgment of freedom of conscience, political views and private life, but also the mandatory acknowledgment of the equality of good and evil.”

Translation: While privacy and freedom of thought, religion and speech are cherished rights, to equate traditional marriage and same-sex marriage is to equate good with evil.

No moral confusion here, this is moral clarity, agree or disagree.

President Reagan once called the old Soviet Empire “the focus of evil in the modern world.” President Putin is implying that Barack Obama’s America may deserve the title in the 21st century.

Nor is he without an argument when we reflect on America’s embrace of abortion on demand, homosexual marriage, pornography, promiscuity, and the whole panoply of Hollywood values.

Our grandparents would not recognize the America in which we live.

This is the story of the Russian people: respect for strong leaders who are identified as defenders of the motherland against foreign threats. Stalin was popular, Nicholas was popular (at least until 1917), Catherine, Peter, even Ivan. (They didn't have opinion polls then, but so it's been told.) It's a manifestation of the Slavic adoration of its leaders.

In no other part of the world would such adoration be offered unless it were earned.

Partly, maybe.

Let's be honest: Obama has a 95% approval rating among American blacks. Think about that. An incompetent, racist and rabble rouser lame duck president is "approved" for the simple fact that he has black skin.

But I guess that is okay with you, huh?
