Is that why, when the SHTF somewhere, "the people of the world" look to the US to help them?
You Liberals make my stomach turn. This thread in it's entirety has proved something to me that I've known for a long time already..... Liberal's hate this country, which is why they want to "fundamentally transform" it.
Everyone wants to change it to fit their ideal world.
Right-wingers tried to pretend contempt for torture-supporting scum was unpatriotic when Republican scum faced criticism during the Bush administration too.

Those "torture-supporting scum" are what led to the death of Bin Laden, so, sleep easy, courtesy of the GOP.
Speaking of movies, a lot of you ought to watch the movie "Unthinkable"..... If it saves innocent lives, who gives a **** about torturing a few terrorists.

Don't bother trying to appeal to my cowardice; I wasn't scared by the right's lies or its idiotic rainbow of fear or anything else. Strange you think that I lived in fear of Osama bin Laden. So much for right-wingers being "rational". I have no particular reason to think your victims were terrorists, I don't believe the right's claim that torture saves lives, and I don't believe that criminal acts merit torture. Also, I believe all those involved in the kidnaping and torture of Maher Arar, from the guards who escorted him from the airport all the way up to George W. Bush, should be arrested and tried for kidnaping and torturing an innocent man.
