"Chris Harris, an elected member of the Hooks Independent School Board, posted a viral image of a Ku Klux Klan member with the caption, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.”

Harris said he realized the post was inappropriate and offensive, but he insisted he was not racist."

Texas school official who posted KKK ‘white Christmas’ image on Facebook: I’m not racist

The board meets on December 15th, at which time they will vote whether he should be removed from the board--if he hasn't resigned already by then.

It kind of makes you wonder what his definition of racist is.

He can lie just the same as Obama can. I suppose he just felt he was being politically correct emulating his president.

When you get right down to it, it's all Obama's fault, right?

Thats not kosher. The guy that said "White folks was in the caves while we [blacks] was building empires" is a white house advisor. Kosher? When and where does it end?

I think you assume that everyone has the intelligence to properly assess each situation individually. It's clear by the person you are quoting, that there are people who just aren't smart enough... likely due to a lack of proper education. Just like how they look at God for all the answers instead of doing a bit of research, they blame Obama for all their problems.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed near social media.

I don't get what the dealio is. It's just a joke. Yea, a joke he shouldn't have made publically because of it's consequences, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's racist. Lots of people make racist jokes. I have heard far worse than that, and it still doesn't mean the person's racist. It's called a dark sense of humour.

A joke is funny. There are many racial jokes which have a story and punchline. This wasn't a joke. It's just an ignorant comment.
