You hear it all the time from everyone. It doesn't matter if it's a guy talking to only women or even a woman talking just to women, it so often starts with "you guys" or "hey, how are you guys". Do you think it's not sexist to use "guys" as the default for a group even if it's female only?

I was reading this article: The Common Guy | ***** Media

and wanted your thoughts.

I offended a lesbian one time using the term "guys"... some people are just to darn sensitive. Was she really offended or was she just trying to point out the chip on her shoulder? She prob would be upset if i refered to her as "her".. just some people

Until the country starts using the term "y'all" to address a group of people, "you guys" will have to do.

I was born, raised, and lived most of my life in the Midwest where "you guys" is about as common as "wait up" and "pop" instead of soda.

'guys' references both males and females, if anyone finds it offensive seek counseling or expand your knowledge of language usage.

'Her" - I like it!

Sounds safe, at least for a while.

Alright you hers, break it up!

It avoids ho's. Hoes? hose? Whatever!

Shouldn't you be busy trying to get Santa Clause to start wishing kids 'Happy Holidays' and not 'Merry Christmas'
