Obviously, there was a debate with someone that didn't even know the Military Reconstruction Act replaced all the southern legislatures with northern carpetbaggers. Not recognizing the elected officials of the state.
They have baited & switched it up, for the entire time I have been alive.

And? It wasn't like you were around then, the war is over and everyone who was in it is dead, so let it die. The Military Reconstruction Act doesn't matter today. You cannot change history and you cannot change the fact that the South lost the war and had to deal with the repercussions of that loss.
Of the 50 largest cities in the USA only a couple didn't go for Obama in 2012. Can you have a war that doesn't have regional unity?
We can if we stop building a fence along the southern border and start building one around each of the 50 largest cities you mention. Sort of like the one in the movie, "Divergent." Please leave me on the outside.
Without the 3/5 compromise, that was demanded from the north, because without it the south would have had more representation than the north and ruled the US legislature. The North couldn't say they were not human, and not to be counted, or all the blacks in the north, would not be counted. the 3/5ths Compromise, was what got the south to join the UNION. Without it, the South would have been it's own nation.

The south would have never joined the union in the first place without the 3/5ths Compromise(about slavery). That compromise was not up for discussion, not even if it would give the south more representation in congress. They were going to be there own nation, 70 years prior.
Con them in, then switch the rules and change the deal after you already paid them...

You are trying real hard to twist history here. As for the South.... Look at all former slave islands in the Caribbean to get an idea of what the South would have looked like if it wasn't for the wealth, education, and investment from the North. The south would have been a banana republic, it wasn't until a few decades ago that the south started rising economically.
Until someone made the risible claim that slavery was just not that big a deal until the Gettysburg Address. That had to be answered.

Yep, the South tried to go around Congress and act like they could govern themselves. Then they went on to lose a war. Time to accept that loss.
Go troll another thread, or learn the history of the civil war.
I am well aware the history of the Civil War, maybe the real problem is this thread belongs in the History section because you are just talking about historical events as if they happened yesterday. The war is over, when do you plan on accepting that fact?
