even bots' batteries wear out eventually.

Internal DOJ documents show Ms. Lerner was talking to DOJ officials about prosecuting tax-exempt entities (yes, criminally!) two years before the IRS conceded there was inappropriate targeting.

They haven't yet received their official OFA talking points on this yet.

What needs to happen is a prosecution. But with a corrupt bias DOJ it wont happen. A criminal investigation needs to occur and ALL evidence needs to be forcibly seized.

Is it wrong to ask the DOJ to consider prosecution of tax exempt agencies if there is evidence they are violating the law? Everyone agrees that if you only target one side that is wrong but what appears to me to be lost in this entire issue is were laws being violated and why is it okay to look past that.

And yes that applies to all tax exempt organizations left right or in the middle- if they used their tax exampt status to cicumvent laws they should be prosecuted.

#1 Lois Lerner has already admitted that the sharing of over 1.1 Million documents of private tax payer data with the DOJ and FBI was “absolutely incorrect, insensitive and inappropriate.”

#2 Why are you ignoring the fact that the story has just suddenly shifted again. The story was that Lois Lerner had not contacted the DOJ until 2012. Now we know for a fact that she had contacted the DOJ in 2010. Are you willing to accept this as just another coincidence of an honest mistake -- all of these coincidences and honest mistakes point to a cover-up.

Do you buy that Lerner and over half a dozen people at the heart of the scandal ALL had hard drive crashes that erased emails?

#3 Are you capable of free thought? How much BS are you willing to buy, before you admit this smells?

Does the Public deserve these IRS scandal questions answered?

-The IRS broke the law when it failed to inform the National Archives and Records Administration that Lerner's emails were lost. Normally the IRS follows this law. Is this really a coincidence that they didn't follow the law in a manner that would impede the investigation?

-3 IRS IT Asset Managers who would have been responsible for handling the destruction of the hard drive were shuffled out of positions at the time of the investigation heating up, which had not happened prior and has stifled the investigation.

-The destruction of the hard drive would have legally required formal documentation. The IRS has as of yet not released the formal documentation. Why do they not have the formal documentation or why have they refused to release the formal documentation?

-Some of Lerner's emails were sent on her IRS Blackberry. Yes, the same IRS Blackberry phone that the IRS lied by not originally admitting that she had when asked. Those emails should be recoverable on her phone and there should be Lerner email data on the 'enterprise server'. Yet the IRS is dragging its feet and not responding to this.

6 questions about the IRS’s missing emails, from IT experts - The Washington Post

Holder's Department of Justice had been "investigating" the IRS for a year when they heard through the media that the IRS emails in question had been erased years ago.

How thorough is Obama's investigation into the IRS if after a year it didn't even discover that the emails in question were already erased?

Department of Justice: We Heard About IRS Missing Emails On The News

Questions:

#1 Lois Lerner said "[E]verybody is screaming at us right now 'Fix it now before the election. Can't you see how much these people are spending?" Who was screaming at her and what actions did she take to "fix it?"

#2 Lois Lerner blamed the targeting on line level people in Cincinnati, how can she then explain the following:
A) The line level people in Cincinnati had documentation that DC had asked for the targeting
B) Line level people in Cincinnati do not have control over other IRS branches, yet targeting happened at IRS branches literally from coast to coast
C) An IRS attorney has stated that the targeting came from an Obama appointee in DC

#3 After the story broke, Lois Lerner in an email said the "Tea Party matter is Dangerous" and asked if "the FEC could save the day." Why is this targeting coming to light so dangerous and why did you want the FEC to help you?

#4 Lois Lerner said that the targeting and questions asked were wrong, apologized, and had stopped. So why did her very office continue sending inappropriate questions targeting and auditing conservative groups with her name on the letters AFTER she admitted it was wrong?

#5 Of the groups flagged for using conservative sounding words, 83% were conservative. Of those groups flagged 100% of the groups actually targeted with an audit were conservative and all of these groups were asked inappropriate questions. How is it that only conservative groups were audited with this program?

#6 Who at the IRS illegally leaked confidential IRS data of conservatives to left-leaning media? When did you find out about it and what have you done to stop it from happening again?

#7 Why did Lois Lerner against regulations improperly contact the FEC directly about conservative groups?

#8 Why were IRS employees breaking the rules by campaigning for Obama on the job to citizens dealing with the IRS? What steps have you taken to prevent this from happening again?

Where in my post did I defend LL or anything the administration did? I asked a simple question if tax exempt organizations violated the law what should happen.

They should be prosecuted regardless of what party they support.

Bingo and the IRS should not be afraid to look into all of them.

The IRS admitted that they improperly targeted conservative groups.

You are deflecting to help cover up.

What should happen to Lois Lerner and the DOJ for giving out the wrong date for when first contact happened by 2 whole years?
