And HE DID!

You know this how? Backed up with stats?

Ending these incidents is why I support ending the prohibition on ALL the currently illicit drugs. The cost od suppression is higher than the cost of the potential damage. Even crack and meth should be legal as addictions to these appear to be self cancelling.
It doesn't have to be either or. You are going to be the one supporting those addicts one way or the other.

I don't think profiting is what they have in mind......

Maybe not this one because it failed, but many others. They get to keep the money and property they steal from the citizens. This happens all the time all over the country.

Correct. Treatment is much more effective and is cheaper than the drug war.

A man who takes the time to ask someone who just busted down his door what they want is usually a dead man. People who bust down your door don't usually want to talk over a cup of coffee.

Cops who bust down a door and kill an innocent man based on flimsy evidence should be tried for murder.

Generalizations don't make great arguments.

It absolutely is. Stealing money from citizens is the LE agenda and it works quite well. LE gets to keep the money and property even if the citizens are innocent. Many times they keep the money even when the citizens are not even charged with a crime. It happens quite often and they steal hundreds of millions of dollars this way.
