When a black, Latino or Muslim does something bad there is talk of responsibility on that community. When a white person does it no one asks for the White community to speak up. Oh he was just a anti-social loser, heck no mention of his race.
The OP makes a good point, to deny the above is living in fantasy land. People should not be blamed for the actions of criminals, white or black or anyone else. The Iranians in Australia should not be blamed for the Iranian hostage taker in Sydney.

Wow are you ever wrong. I don't absolve anyone, including police officers, priests, boy scout den leaders, or anyone, no matter the race, of any crime. Never have. Prove me wrong.
But the black community needs to own their own failings. Black on black murder is killing more young black men than bad cops do. Deny it all you want, but it's true.
BTW, the op forgot about serial killers and pedophiles, most of them are white, too.

I think the amount of shootings in these two cities alone in the past year are more than double the amount of "mass shootings" by some crazy white guy than we've had in this country in the last 100 years.
Can you guess what ethinicity is predominant in those two cities ?
Well, first of all, mass shootings are not an exclusively white phenomenon. Rather, the trend falls pretty much in line with racial demographics. The last shooting I can recall was in Washington state a few weeks ago when that native American teenager shot some of his classmates at high school. The worst school shooting -- in terms of victim count -- was committed at Virginia Tech by Seung-Hui Cho. So to come out charging that mass shootings are only committed by whites is misguided, to say the least.
The second issue is, when white guys do commit mass shootings, nobody in the white community comes to their defense, nor do they blame the victims.

Remember that Hartford Distributors shooting that took place in 2010? Committed by a black guy against his coworkers, killing eight of them. He blamed his coworkers for "being racist" and he actually got sympathy from some elements of the media and the black community. It's as if just because he -- the crazy gunman -- alleged that a white person was racist against him, with no facts to back it up, he's almost justified to shoot them. That's pretty twisted, but it's the same rationale that black people use to defend criminals like Michael Brown when he assaults a police officer, for trying to stop him.

Do you have any examples of the "black and Latino (whatever that means) communities" being asked to "speak up?" It seems to me that the term "black community" is mostly used by left-wing black people. I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean.

When is the last time you saw the white community riot in support of a mass shooter the way that the black community rioted in support of a known thug that was shot while committing a crime? When that happens, the OP will have a valid point. Until then, this entire thread is nothing but a prime example of race baiting.
