For the same reason that we call Ann Coulter a moron when she issues news paper columns about why democrats are evil baby killing socialists out to wreck the country.
This isn't exactly a news story because she mumbled something about hating Republicans while having a merlot on her back deck while talking to her neighbor lol.

Stupid column but it was done in an independant (non profit).. Find a different school to attend unless you want you or your child to spend time with this kind.. good luck with that.

There has been a large, notable increase, in professors being caught making insane hateful comments. In their classes, in public places, and in their yards.
A professor at South Texas College in Weslaco was captured on video explaining to his students some of the perceived similarities between modern day tea party members and 1930’s-era Nazis in Germany — and then imploring them to not tell anyone outside the classroom of his comparison
He said to the students not to “tell anybody” about his comments, apparently not realizing that one of his students had started filming right after he called Sen. Ted Cruz an [expletive for fatherless child] for using his last name to help win his election...

Meanwhile, the college says that the professor’s opinions do not reflect those of the university.
She does. She isn't just a professor, she is the head of communications studies so she does represent the university. I am no fan of either party but I read this a couple days ago and thought to myself, what a sad individual she must be.
It goes back to an often complaint I have, the demonization of an entire group of people whether they fit your biases or not.
Looking at her picture it looks like she might have some fetal alcohol syndrome going on so that make her brain most likely all f'd up. Which makes her look at life like a typical liberal.
