Most police officers are good people. But there are bad eggs and the police force protects those bad eggs. That policy is coming home to roost.

Their mistakes are criticized? Of course. If you or I's mistake killed someone, we'd land in jail. There would be no "Oops." There would be no administrative leave. Jail. Why are the police immune to paying for their mistakes?

It takes six months in the academy (IIRC) to become an NYCPD officer. Even you can't be as dim to think the city would be left without cops for half a year.

Nothing would happen to them.

Why shouldn't their mistakes be scrutinized?

There is nothing new in cops dying in the line of duty, and now the NYPD is using the deaths of these two officenrs to advance an agenda. I would not be happy if I were a family member.

I say let them all walk of their jobs and the city go into chaos. let the mayor, President and all the cop hating idiots deal with it!!!

And why would they walk off the job in the first place? Didn't they become cops to protect people? And they're just gonna leave everybody high and dry?

Stupid thread.

No. De blasio needs to walk off for good and stay away from politics with his inflammatory ideological BS. It's not the citizens fault we have anti-cop left political hacks running New York.

No they shouldn't. People would die. And most of the victims would be the poor and minorities that they supposedly oppress.

They didn't bargain on having a major who supports killing them.
