The man who achieved national attention for carrying an "assault rifle" to a demonstration where Obama was speaking in Phoenix was black. He was not arrested nor shot by police, though they kept him under close watch. I see black guys at the range and in the gun shops here all the time as well.

Most of my family is legal, but they don't carry in public. One of my good friends always has his concealed, but he works in law enforcement.
