There are still far too many guns, and even though gun ownership will continue to fall dramatically, every single second somebody has a private gun is a second in which he could use that gun to bring harm to a great number of people.
Or, better yet every single second somebody has a private gun is a second in which that person may not become the victim of some POS lowlife who has no value or regard for the life of others or their own life for that matter.
