Look at the Warsaw Ghetto. Or at the Polish Army. Or at Belgium.

They had lots of guns, and even tanks and bombs, but were still crushed.

Must be those lone few gun owners buying up all those guns.

"The FBI has released new statistics on NICS background checks showing 2013 gun sales hit a new record. The total number of background checks conducted for gun sales last year add up to 21,093,273, beating the previous 2012 record of 19,592,303 by 1,500,970. Texas conducted the most background checks with 1,633,278. Kentucky came is second with 1,578,331 background checks conducted. "

It's a constitutional right to carry a deadly weapon in public.

Lets take a look at the "uses" of guns:

hunting: you can buy food at a store. As for thinning out herds, the EPA can take care of that

Recreation: if you really must participate in a sport which requires accuracy, you can settle for archery or photography

self defense: Remember Kellerman's statistic. You still haven't disproved it yet.

Rising against tyranny: nope. A gun can't beat a nuke. Plain and simple

And just look at all the gun violence in Switzerland...

Oh...never mind...LOL...

6 million deer a year, alone.

More than 100 million animals hunted yearly in North America.

Weird how it outnumbers human death by guns by.... a lot.

The actual problem was they didn't have enough guns or training.

Thank you for further illustrating my point.

No. Guns are used for getting food and recreational purposes as well.

Data for 2010. Seems suicide is pretty low on the list. And we know not all of them are gun-related. I don't see murder approaching those numbers.

FastStats - Leading Causes of Death

This should be an acceptable link for you as well. List motor vehicle accidents higher than firearms deaths and homicides.
