Absolutely incorrect, they are every bit ant-cop, anti-american, anti-sanity.
Just take a look at the OWS facebook page. These people are absolute lunatics.
The dots for these groups all lead back to a Marxist political party that wants to get rid of capitalism and go full socialism with a guaranteed income for all Americans. (PSL - Party for Socialism and Liberation)
They seem to have their fingers in many social issues protests these days which means they are getting money and plenty of it.
The "protests" in St Louis, LA and New York are run by some of the same Anarchist groups, Unions and Socialist groups that ran the Occupy crowds - the rest of the folks that blindly follow them are just Cannon Fodder.
This is a business for the 'protest' leaders ..... it's run over Social Media with nasty hashtags with a main goal of fomenting Anger and gathering large crowds.
They just had another shooting in St Louis - Social Media brought out the crowds with their bags full of rocks instantly. There is nothing "organic" or grass roots about any of this .... it's all orchestrated.

I did a bit of googling myself. Several different anarchist groups have the same headquarter address in SF.
But the flow of money is shrouded in other activist groups with no single name popping up.
The protestors are a cross section of people, not one single minded force. You have bleeding heart liberal transplants suburbanites, alongside criminal thugs from the projects, and everyone in between.
For the protestors to be equating the NYPD to the KKK is ridiculous. Just look at the 2 cops who were shot. Would they have been given KKK memberships? The NYPD has numerous African-American females on the force in addition to every other ethnic group. This is not Alabama in 1964.
Personally, I think that police work attracts bullies and people with chips on their shoulders, from all races, which is why I think police need to be watched..body cameras, everything recorded, etc.
But you also have a group of people out there, that is largely young and African American, who basically seem to think that all rules are optional for them because their ancestors were brought here on slave ships, and fighting the police is their right or mission.
From what I gather it is a NYC police officer that made the connection.
What do yo mean "start killing each other off"? THey already do so at 100x the rate that a thug is killed by cops. I wonder how long it will be before the citizens of NYC have to stand guard with rifles to protect their homes and businesses from the animals? Oh wait, I forgot, it's NYC. It's nearly impossible for a citizen to legally own a firearm there.
By 100x I assume you're referring to black on black homicide rates. But the majority of protesters I've seen in pics are white, I assume it's the OWS crowd.
OWS does have some money, IIRC they raised quite a bit via donations. That could explain the professionally made signs.
