A middle-aged Tennessee woman is under arrest after she drove around a suburban Chattanooga neighborhood, inexplicably shooting at people and vehicles. Julia Shields, 45, has been arrested and faces multiple felony charges, after she terrorized her neighborhood on Friday. Shields faces three counts of attempted murder and seven counts of aggravated assault. She also faces charges for reckless endangerment, evading arrest, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Incomplete story. The story says she wore body armor and she was found in her car in a parking lot. The story doesn't say if the police fired upon her or her vehicle nor does it say how was she arrested. Likely she ran out of ammo, police arrived with guns drawn, ordered her to throw out her weapon, step out her vehicle, and other instructions before handcuffs were placed upon her. Follow instructions and you live, don't follow instructions and you risk injury or death.
It's a valid question but one can not jump to the conclusion the article does yet. Maybe the officers are better trained than in areas that shoot first and ask questions about whether it was justified later?
Or maybe there is something to the questions being posed.

In New York, that would have been an automatic kill if she was Black.
