In my bro's case, the newspaper folded.

Why is it so important to prove that Reid did not box? There wasn't such a big whoop-di-doo over Paul Ryan's lying about his running.
His mother is Mormon, Mormons save everything. I don't care if he was a boxer or not......I actually hate that he invented the "nuclear option."

He does stuff like this: Reid, and other majority leaders before him, have developed a clever workaround: Just change your vote at the last minute if it looks as though you're going to lose, then move to reconsider. In theory, any supporter of the bill or nomination in question could do the same, but traditionally it's been the majority leader.

One day he may live to regret all the lies he has made being a good Christian. If a Republican comes into office, Reid and Obama have created something they may not like in the future.

He may not have been a boxer but he "might have" fathered two werewolf cubs

I won't go into to detail, but I did had an uncle who was a pretty darn good jockey in the 30s. He rode a horse that beat Seabicuit twice. Google lists my uncle as one if not the first Jewish jockeys. He and moms entire family were devout Catholics from day one. Mistakes are made and the media is just as guilty as the rest of us. I happen to blieve Reid, though spelt wrong, probalby was a boxer at one time.
I am not a big Reid fan, either, but I am interested in fairness. Interesting story about your family.

Reid was not a Mormon from birth; he converted in college. And what stereotyping!
Senator Harry Reid of Nevada
"Reid was not born into a Mormon family and did not join the church until he was a student at Utah State University in Logan."

Here's an article referencing his boxing AND his boxing coach in high school in Henderson, NV. Now I can tell you, many HS sports do not get newspaper coverage, for example, gymnastics usually only at the state meet. If you played football for a Big 10 team, like Jerry Ford, there's lots of verification.

I happen to come from a long line of Mormons, though I am not one. From my family experience, if my Mormon family didn't lose stuff from moving place to place or in a house fire, they kept everything.

I wasn't stereotyping, lighten up! He was a boxer so what, so was my uncle, glad he didn't sign up to ruin America. Holding back on performing Harry Reid's job and President Obama has cost our nation plenty.

Reid does stuff like this: Harry Reid Urges Obama Not To Take Immediate Action On Immigration

I strongly support the President’s use of his well-established authority to provide relief to families who continue to suffer under our broken immigration system. The President can and should act to provide this relief. Immigrant communities cannot wait any longer for House Republicans to act.
In recent days it has become increasingly clear that a small but vocal minority of Republicans are looking for an excuse to derail what has been a productive, bipartisan process of drafting a year-long funding bill to keep the government open. It is incumbent on responsible leaders within the Republican Party to work with Democrats and complete the business of keeping the government open in the coming weeks, regardless of when the President acts to provide relief to families.

This administration is ALWAYS threatening to shut down the government.....how does the American government EVER shut down....... Maybe, with Reid all tied up, he won't be able to speak from his comfortable bed.

Lots of people save everything. My mother-in-law, who could best be described as a "secular Lutheran" (ie, one who doesn't go to church) saves everything. She's a hoarder, actually. My friend's mom, a good Catholic woman, saved everything. Lots of people are savers.

Let's skip to the end. Just who is threatening to shut down the government? I think it was the Republicans who engineered the last shut-down, and some, much to the chagrin of Mitch McConnell, who is finally showing some spinal column, want to do it again!

especially boxing, it isn't like it is a mainstream sport. Plus, I am not sure whether he did or didn't box in high school really makes much difference. The fact remains, he was injured working out and he is hurting. that is the important thing here.

Actually, the important thing here is that Harry Reid has a well-chronicled history of lying, and his boxing "career" is further proof of that.

P.S. Taking deductions is not "evading" taxation. People who work for a living and pay taxes know this. Apparently you don't.
the word evading has nothing to do with legality, so yes, taking deductions is evading taxes to not pay a certain amount.

i dont have to use a word by its colloquial meaning to be right, something you apparently dont know.

but thanks for posting a link that proves me right.
