I want to ask before I assume: do people like you actually believe that the only blacks who have a problem with the way they are treated in this country are the ones who don't "take care of business"? I've seen many many whites suggest that the only blacks who complain about anything are those who lack self awareness and responsibility.
Why are people so hell bent on refusing to believe that white privilege exists?

Frankly, I think the latter is a more serious problem, than the former.
For some types of people it's always going to be easier to lay the blame for their pathetic state of affairs at the feet of someone else. Esp, when they're trained from childhood to believe they're being 'oppressed.'

Of course, except the latter would have likely never existed had it not been for the former. Black-on-black violence did not become a problem until after white-on-black terrorism. If you treat a race of people like animals, ensure they remain in a system of generational poverty and unequal opportunities, and teach them that they are their own worst enemies, you can't really be surprised if they behave accordingly.
But let's not sit here and act like things aren't improving. The black middle class continues to grow, more blacks are enrolled in college than ever before and the rates of violence within our community continues to plummet. We are overcoming despite the BS we've had to put up with. So anyone who dares to suggest that black folks aren't putting forth any effort towards change can get down on both knees and take a mouthful.
The real problem is that most whites have little to no first hand experience with black folks outside of the evening news. You'd be surprised what you learn when you actually get to know people for who they really are and not who the media portrays them to be.
Wanted to say that was a great action plan. Nice to see they are pretty well organized and focused on non-violent civil disobedience.
They should take their war on White America to city hall, not private restaurants.

Civil disobedience entails "upsetting citizens." Citizens are the only ones enmasse that politicians will listen to. Protesting at the police station will not get the attention that the groups are seeking.

These kids hurt no one, many of the people in the audience were in support of their cause. They are getting the attention they desire in an effort to incite positive change and you read their action plan and come to the conclusion that they have a "war on white America."

True, and there is no such thing really as "black on black crime." That is a phrase made up by the media. You do realize that most crimes occur against people of the same demographics right??? Whites disproportionately commit crime against whites. Hispanics against hispanics, Asians against Asians and blacks against black.

Accusing a few white and Asian hipsters, guilty only of "having brunch", of being a part of "white supremacy" is indeed a war on white America. If some white bikers had done this at the ghetto fried chicken restaurant, all hell would break loose and everyone would be screaming "racism!"

Like I said, if someone protesting the murder of a white person by a black thug at Kennedy Fried Chicken, it would be a completely different story.
I'm confused by this photo. There's like 2 white girls in that photo, a bi-racial kid, (who probably just got that jacket for Christmas from his white grandparents in Pittsburg), a Somali/Eritrean looking girl whose people were invited to live in the racist United States, and one black girl... all watching some Asian kids enjoy white privilege waffles?
This is what passes as a protest for social justice? Man activists are stupid these days.

It's even worse in Seattle, where I have white "anarchist" brats calling my half black self an "agent of white supremacy" because I don't support smashing the windows of small businesses
