I saw a story on Fox and the President wants to encourage Americans to buy the Debt. I know a form of was when America sold War Bonds in the day. But the Money guys think its a bad investment and falls short of reducing the Debt thru budget cuts and elimination of useless Gov. Departments.

Any thoughts?

Default Is FOX News still around?

If a Republican were in office, that debt would be 918 Trillion and Climbing, with every domestic category in CRISIS mode.

I know, how dare Obama include the cost of wars into the debt, he should have done what Bush did by pretending debt from wars doesn't exist.

Heh. "the Obama debt". Stop it.

The debt was built into the system during the Bush years (which, to be fair, he was mostly not in favor of). Obama managed to rapidly decrease the expansion on the deficit.

Again, stop it.

Actually it is Congress who authorizes spending. Talk to Boehner about it.

Actually before of the Democratic cause of the Housing Crisis during Bush, Bushes budgets were in line with the revenues that were coming in. Your Assumption is in left field.

It's going to keep climbing no matter who is in office. Period. There will always be a war some where & the U.S feels like they need to stick their noses into someone else's business.
