And, that is one of the benefits of living in Montana. We don't HAVE any "professional" sports teams!
We do have a semi-pro baseball team, but even if the stadium was paid for by the taxpayers, I don't live in town so I don't have a dime invested in it.
I have never been to a game there, don't plan on going.

In theory, I am against it.

However, governments bend over backwards to subsidize and accomodate all kinds of things including lots of businesses.

I reside in one of the most liberal counties in the USA and the kind and caring county council never met a wealthy developer they were not willing to subsidize, lavish with perks, and waive any zoning restriction for.

Of course when they are all "contributing" (aka bribing) to your campaigns, well, values go out the window.

Pardon?? since when is pointing out the obvious a personal attack? can you please point me to a comment of yours that isn't full of or or making some confrontational remark or assumption??
