Gay marriage will never be truly equal or even seen as "marriage" in Gods eyes and in many people's eyes. Marriage is defined as a man and women with most priests and churches. Most gay couples can only be married by a judge or clerk, not have a wedding in a church or through an ordained minister of the church. And who is supposed to take the last name? Do they all just keep their surnames? What is the fun in that?
I feel sorry for people who are not capable of critical thinking and parrot back what they learn at houses of worship. Very sad indeed.
After a Federal Court in Florida ruled the state's ban on same-sex marriage violated the Constitution in August, it was stayed pending appeal until midnight tonight. Florida's AG appealed the ruling and pushed for a longer stay, however her appeals were denied. The stay will officially be lifted at midnight tonight and same-sex couples will be allowed to get married statewide. Same-sex couples in Miami-Dade have already started getting married. Another ruling in state court found the ban violated Constitution, that ruling was stayed as well pending the outcome of the Federal court case. With that one settled the Judge in the state court case lifted her stay earlier today which immediatley allowed same-sex marriage in the court's Jurisdiction.
This will make Florida the 37th state to allow same-sex marriage
The 2 percent trying to change the 98 percent. Gay marriage is a sin, but is protected by the laws of Men. I would not consider 2 men or 2 women ever being married. Just not right. B ut I hear the Lake of fire has plenty room!

"Gods eyes"..........what color are gods eyes in your fantasy world? Does he/she/it wear bifocals or those wrap around sunglasses often seen in Boca Raton? Screw the church, who wants to take the chance of being groped or assaulted by a religious deviant.
It would be better if the people of the state of Florida wanted this new definition of marriage, and not just some activist judge forcing it down people's throats, eh?
How is it being shoved down anyone's throat? No in required to support it, witness it, or be a part of it. They could be happening and you wouldn't even notice it. It has nothing to do with you, so you shouldn't care. After all, is that not what traditional American values are about? Minding your own business?

Is God a member of congress? Does he hold any elected office in the US? No? Then that's too bad for him I guess.

Are people trying to make you become homosexuals? No?
Then no one is making anyone change.
