Notice no matter how much free stuff you give the free loaders they are still poor. It's like the w2 worker who thinks if only they could get a good raise life would be rosy. For some reason they keep forgetting the "learn to handle money" part of the equation. I have no problem with w2 workers but they should teach more about personal finance and people need to learn how to say no, I don't NEED that.

Financial peace isn't the acquisition of stuff. It's learning to live on less than you make.

Shh, it's not PC to talk about that. They can't possibly be at fault for their poverty <sarcasm>

You seem to bring up Obama in every one of your posts, or at least once in every thread you chime in on, regardless of whether or not he has anything at all to do with the subject.

Your obsession is remarkable.

One of the things you continually lie about is this "Obamaphone" business.

It's been showed to you numerous times, but you still trot out the lie.

Since 1985, the Lifeline program has provided a discount on phone service for qualifying low-income consumers to ensure that all Americans have the opportunities and security that phone service brings, including being able to connect to jobs, family and emergency services. In 2005, Lifeline discounts were made available to qualifying low-income consumers on pre-paid wireless service plans in addition to traditional landline service. Lifeline is part of the Universal Service Fund.

The Lifeline program is available to eligible low-income consumers in every state, territory, commonwealth, and on Tribal lands. Consumers with proper proof of eligibility may be qualified to enroll.

Lifeline cell phones since 2005. Hmmm. WHO was POTUS in 2005?

"Eek! That horrible socialist Bush Junior! What a scam! He's going to be the death of our economy with his handouts to the scumsucking leeches of the nation!!!"

I see poor folks with smart phones (these have expensive plans) and I just don't understand how someone with a SNAP card can afford one of these............or the Mercedes in the parking lot.

Deep mystery:

If inequality "starts in the crib" why oh why oh why do poor people keep having children?

short answer: baby mama with under-the-table support from grandma, siblings, boyfriend, and baby daddy. someone else is actually paying for the car and the smartphone she is using. If she married the baby daddy, his income would make her ineligible for government assistance.

in the meantime the childless poor often have negligible or no resources beyond government assistance and whatever they can earn.
