Press kept out as Obama, Senate Dems meet in Baltimore.

I suspect this isn't unusual for any administration but I thought this was going to be the most open transparent in history.

They are very transparent about keeping us in the dark as they play their power games.

Why should it be open to the public? Its the equivalent of a staff meeting or corporate retreat where everyone sets an agenda, hashes out problems, establishes common goals and discuss how they should work as a team? Its not like they are even writing legislation or divvying up political appointments.

I think acknowledging that the meeting occurred/who attended is the appropriate level or transparency. I would expect no more or less from the Republicans.
