So, President Obama is going to propose higher taxes on "high earners." (health care, income)

LOL. Stop with this nonsense. The only color the IRS cares about is green.
Let's review.
This isn't about the IRS or about the Treasury. They do not get a vote on this; they implement.
If Obama wanted his rich left-wing supporters to pay more money, he would have proposed the tax increase WHEN DEMOCRATS CONTROLLED BOTH THE HOUSE & THE SENATE.
He didn't propose it then, did he??
He proposes it only now that there is a Republican controlled House & Senate. Why? His SOLE objective is to attempt to generate a news story that casts Republicans in a bad light.
Obama doesn't care about the country; he only cares about his tribe winning. #WorstPresident , #WorstPresidentEver
Bwahahaha. ohhh the poor poor rich. Really? The middle class gets hit in the head with a hammer over and over...and suddenly the rich stub their poor little toe. oh the horror.
Obama isn't proposing to tax only the rich. If he did, he would propose increasing the tax on truly rich people -- starting at, say, $50 Million a year. Instead he's proposing increasing it at $500K/year. $500K/year is far from rich.

If you're pulling $500,000/year, you are somewhere in the 99th percentile.

In my opinion the only reason he is going to propose this is to get votes for democrats in the next election.
Who can be against taking a little from the evil rich and giving it to those less fortunate.

Since both you and him have never dreamed of (let alone know of) them they cannot be named.

He's been chanting that since 2008.
And who gets hit..upper middle class Americans because the propaganda has convinced the masses that a SALARY makes people rich. Take away their salary and are they still "rich" ?
The truly rich don't need jobs but many fail to realize that.
Hmmm...because people who can't afford children simply wanted to have children selfishly maybe?
Extra mouths to feed? who said you have to have children ? It is ones own responsibility to raise their children successfully. Otherwise, it is irresponsible to bring a human being into this world and expect other people to pay for it. We childless people dont have two incomes. We don't have all these tax credits. We face workplace discrimination inflicted by those who have a family. Where is the government?
Perhaps the tax credit to the lower income people will help them pay for birth control that certain employers refused to offer in their healthcare plans due to religious reasons.
