Who knew a tax cut for the middle class, something they desperately need, could be so divisive?
Oh, come on!
Little people don't deserve tax breaks or benefits from their tax payments. Remember, 47% of Americans are parasites who do nothing but exist on the good graces of the 1% who do everything all the time. We should be grateful that we're allowed to stay in the good ol' USA. We're takers, not makers, remember?
A lot of people fail to see how calling a football team the Redskins is offensive. Do you hold the same position with regard to that or are you just another liberal hypocrite?
And that's another thing... everyone blathering on about the President's "divisiveness" - as if what, Bush wasn't "divisive?" What president WASN'T "divisive?" This whole "divisive" chit chat is completely meaningless hyperbole by now.
For a Republican, anything a Democrat says is "divisive". For a Democrat, anything a Republican says is "divisive." If someone doesn't agree with me....they're being DIVISIVE!
So what? Why act so indignant about it? It's politics. Grass is also green and gravity makes things fall.
Seriously, from the day Obama was elected, Republicans ratcheted up the "Us vs. Them" rhetoric tenfold, but still have the audacity to call Obama divisive. That's hilarious!
I mean, look at the OP...She spends every waking moment on C-D complaining about poor people, black people, immigrants, liberals (and Obama) but to people like her, it's Obama's fault that our country is divided. Ha!

No.
Bush didn't use devisive rhetoric once elected to pit groups against groups. Any "divisiveness" was due to many not agreeing with his actions, abroad in particular.
Unlike Obama, Bush is friends with Bill Clinton and called him regularly for advice. Both worked relatively well across the aisle. Obama really could stand to do the same, but I think it's too late.

Do you have some examples of what you consider "Divisive rhetoric" from Obama?

Obviously he's like Chris Matthews. When Obama speaks he gets tingles, eyes roll back and ....
He must be thinking about all that free stuff Obama is promising him.
