Well, the article does state "Others called the criticism political correctness run amok." so apparently a few get it.

It is southern food, but it frequently gets associated with Blacks, and Blacks get stereotyped by that standard. You might enjoyed, and Americans throughout the nation might like fried chicken. However, I can understand why many Blacks might not want to have this stuff featured in public. People stereotype, and perhaps this is more about trying to to have one's self associated with something that could get them stereotype.

Okay, not sure where you're going. My point is that any idiot can tweet anything. Doesn't really mean much to me. I have no problem with the menu.

Oh, I agree with you about twitter being meaningless, I just had a faint twinge of hope that there was possibly a faint speck of truth there now and then when there were tweets about PC run amok.

Macaroni and cheese carry with it the stigma of poordom.

A box of Kraft is so stinking low - and it's addictive!

Listen we all know black people love fried chicken.
Thousands of black people wait oooo look fried chicken when they saw the ad.
Fried chicken is yummy and so is mac and cheese, and that tradition of fried chicken in black families (southern food) is still strong.

So let me be the first to say happy MLK day fried chicken is yummy and MLK really is not needed as a excuse to eat fried chicken.

When I used to eat that stuff, I loved Popeyes. I was usually the only white guy there though. They do love their fried chicken. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.

I do wonder if Mexicans get offended for noticing they like Mexican food? Being offended by everything is only about CONTROL over others. it's wearing thin.
