I guess so. Otherwise they should get out of the cake baking business...at least according to some.

The point that if a business sells a product, they can not refuse to sell that product to someone based on their race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation (in some states)?

If a baker makes pro KKK cakes, they can refuse to sell those pro KKK cakes to a black person.
If a baker makes a god hates homosexual cakes, they can refuse to sell them to Hindus.
If a bakery makes wedding cakes they can not refuse to sell them to homosexuals.

But if a bakery DOES NOT make those types of cakes they do not have to make them for anyone.

Different legally than the other anti-gay bakery incident.

Just like I dont believe a print shop would be forced to print hate speech for any group.

The idiot went about it all wrong. Needed to ask for a cake promoting traditional values. Even requesting the old testment verse from leviticus.

I am also of the opinion that this bakery should have been allowed to tell him to **** off we arnt making your stupid cake.

Same with the Anti-Gay bakery incident.
What this guy said.

You do realize a wedding cake doesn't typically say anything on it. Wedding cakes are not the same as a birthday cake or a cake with writing on it.

OMFG, how do you people not get it? Hatred is NOT a protected class. The KKK or Family Research Council cannot force a business to print, "God hates n^%%ers and f@gggots" on tee shirts or cakes. This discussion comes up here over and over. Intelligence is the capacity to learn. I see little intelligence here!!! Such a shame.

Did any of those posts or emails say "gay user" or "straight user?"

No? Didn't think so.

And we can talk hatred from gays when they start killing hetero people for being hetero, until then you fail.

I've been to this bakery. The people who own it are very nice. It's sad that they were targeted in this way. Someone using them to try and prove a point. Pathetic.
