Lincoln actually saved the nation.

No comparison.
Lincoln ended slavery.

Kennedy helped formed the U.S. Navy SEALs from Amphibious Scout And Raiders (1942), Special Service Unit Number #1 (1943), OSS Operational Swimmers and UDT (Underwater Demolition Team) on May 25th 1961 with his speech planed to start the operation with spending over 100 million dollars.

The first two teams were formed. January 1st 1962..

I remember a Bewitched episode where "George Washington" time travelled to Samantha's home. Sam was telling George Washington how important that he was to our country. George Washington said , "if I am so important to the country, then why is this Abraham Licoln featured on the $5 bill, a higher denomination?" Sam looked puzzled and then said to George that they did it that way so that Americans would see MORE of him because people will spend $1 bills MORE than they would ever see $5 bills. How times change.

Lincoln has a historical throne he can sit upon but both presidents were, and still are, controversial. Lincoln lived before they could make fun of him on comedy and track his every move with photographs. I don't think I would pick either as great presidential examples.
