Tiny Doo Doo or whatever his name is might get 25 years in the slam since he (c)raps about gangbanging while a member of a gang.

Don't know how this could stand up in court if there is no evidence of an actual crime being committed. If that is the case they might as well arrest the entire group from NWA.

Not much of a rap fan here but I thought we had a first amendment in the US. We might not like the speech but we really don't need to get on the slippery slope of censorship, no matter the reason.

The way you put those 'C's in front of the word 'rap'!! Ha ha, brilliant. You, sir, are the 21st century's answer to Mark Twain.

Anyway, being a totalitarian nanny-stater, I could not agree with you more T-310! You are good people.

Isn't there supposed to be some sort of amendment thingie dealing with that, or does that not extend to those people T-310 comes up with remarkably witty names for?

I agree. What passes for rap today sucks! I still like the older stuff though. At any rate, I don't support censorship, and as urbanlife said (and I actually agree with him) we'd have arrest all of the members of NWA as well.

Looks like the question will be whether or not he was singing about events that actually happened. That's what the law in question is about. He's not being prosecuted for writing lyrics, he's being prosecuted for profiting from a crime. Did anyone even read the article?
