Most of you already know what?

Well, then, if nobody must take responsibility for anything, why don't we just legalize all murder. That way, we can get rid of anybody we don't like. How's that?

Taking responsibility for our actions is part of being an adult. But, I guess in this new world of Obama (who has set an example by his failure to take any responsibility for his actions) responsibility, like our Constitution (according to "Progressives") is a thing of the past. Lives are disposable. Even yours, perhaps?

Whenever someone brings up Obama in any context at any time in such desperation, their credibility plummets to zero. Congratulations.

Overly-emotional rhetoric rarely makes sense.

If you don't mind (and I don't care if you do) I'm going to use your response in another posting (not on this forum). It's so typical of the anti-abortion, low information Leftists and their stupidity. It serves to illustrate the kind of society we are now living in.

And thank you for this fine example of Leftism in AmeriKa.

But, what you fail to see is that they DID take responsibility for their actions. They just did not do so in a way you agree with.

You got to understand that in order for something to be 'against their will,' there would be no say in the circumstances. This includes getting pregnant. That's typically a choice. Yeah, sometimes it's an accident, but accidents can be avoided if you don't get sloppy. Use birth control. The right does plenty to speak out against that, having infected our sex education with assistance rhetoric, creating a negative idea for those (especially women) who carry condoms or other birth control with them at all times. But regardless, birth control is essential and if people choose not to use it, they shouldn't be given a "get out of jail free card."

Obviously, circumstances are important. In cases of rape, extreme poverty, or life threatening conditions, I can understand abortion being a viable option. But if you just didn't want to wear a condom... no. That's not ok. Don't get me wrong, I do think abortions should be legal. This will prevent people from getting illegal abortions (not done by licensed medical professionals), which are considerably less safe for both the mother and the child. But abortions shouldn't be viewed as an issue of women's rights. That'a cheap tactic employed by the left (and I am a liberal) to gain sympathy. A woman has the right to carry her own condoms or whatever preferred method of birth control she chooses. As far as I'm concerned, we should be focusing on changing our societies view on sex. Sex education needs serious work. Speaking from experience here, my sex education was a short list of birth control option (little detail on how they were used, or how to use them correctly, was given), abstinence being heavily preached, and all the downsides of sex (STDs, unwanted pregnancy, impurity for some reason). Sex education should talk about the good parts of sex, the importance of intimate relationships, and consent. Doing so will reduce unwanted pregnancy significantly, reducing any possibly need for abortion. This is a solution that (in theory) benefits everyone, yet we'd much rather point fingers about the abortion topic.
