Government workers make up the bulk of unions.

And the irony is those unions are protecting the workers from the very government that is there to help the workers

If you wanted to write something worthy of discussion, you could have tied union decline to free trade agreements, but that wouldn't demonize your chosen enemy. Good luck. Thinking people see through such charades.

Your really reaching... The bottom line is Unions just aren't needed like they once were and people see through their charade.

Why the change of heart? I thought the decline was tied to criminal behavior of some union boss, as you stated in the OP.

Again, the jobs have been shipped overseas, so yes, no need for a union when there are no jobs.

No change of heart on my part, I have never felt the need for a union and always new what they were really about as indicated by the article.

Im not changing anything, I have no preferred solution ..Unions are crooked ,corrupt extensions of one political party that serve that party's need. Just as the article states, that is my experience with unions. Like I said, I know what they are really about and it is not looking out for the working man.
