An "empty suit," meaning someone of absolutely zero substance or accomplishment who nevertheless satisfied America's craving for easy answers and reassurance from someone who would tell people what they wanted to hear (instead of the truth) in a time of economic crisis, social division and war weariness.

In other words, a used car salesman in politics selling a lemon to a bunch of credulous, desperate, ignorant douchebags.

Now, let's break this down a little bit. Obama's qualifications are that he makes good speeches when he has a teleprompter and good writers. He has a pedigree, but not one that was earned either as a black or as an intellectual (his two main claims to fame.) Not as a black, because he doesn't have a clue about the black experience in America when it comes to blacks descended from slaves. Not as an intellectual, because he is the prototypical affirmative action Golden Boy able to convince white American liberal elites that he is worthy of his Harvard degree, lectureship at the University of Chicago, etc., when he actually is not and never was. As Joe Biden put it, he is okay because he doesn't talk ghetto and doesn't wear dreadlocks and a hoody. Boom! Send this boy right to the top!

The real Obama? A spoiled kid, supported by his grandparents after his irresponsible parents fail in their duty. Goes to a fancy private high school in Hawaii, then to a fancy liberal arts college in LA, then to Columbia and Harvard Law. Only gets to these places because he is black and has an above-average IQ. Then, he is steeped in the academic leftist narrative: white people bad, America and Europe bad, the Third World innocent and good, Christians bad, Muslims good, and -- above all -- anti-imperialism and socialism/communism are the true path to salvation.

His policies follow this narrative: Weaken the United States, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by not leaving a residual force in Iraq, negotiate a deal in which Iran becomes a nuclear power, insult and belittle Israel, play the race card at every opportunity (mostly through his attorney general Holder), give amnesty to illegals by executive order.

On the other hand, he is beholden to Wall Street -- meaning banks, hedge funds and insurance companies -- so he does nothing for the middle class, bails out the tycoons, crafts a health care law that benefits no one except insurance companies and people who would rather spend money on partying than their own health care, crafts a "shovel-ready jobs stimulus" that produces no jobs...

In sum: a president who divided and weakened America. But can we honestly say that America didn't deserve it? That is the real question...
This is such drivel. Do you personally know what the black experience is in America? This statement right here clouds the rest of your post--which is typical, paranoid, right wing nonsense.

during this period -we can see who is who and why- the raw politics have raised the "fat" to the top - can't hide behind the fake smiles. I don't know if some of the news media can say anything new besides the same re-runs of "he is a Muslim, he has no birth cert and refused to say "radical" Islam- and we hate Obama care- no matter how many times-it will be part of history- (maybe)- he attempted to be the champion of the middle class- and has tried to be diplomatic instead of throwing bombs everywhere-- understanding bombs now can be thrown back by more countries than before - he is a peace maker.

True. It's been 6 years and 5 months.

I recall that novelty election in 2000. Where the guy who lost the popular vote was elected by a 5 -4 margin in the supreme court.

Quite the novel 8 years followed. Two lost middle east wars and the worst economy in 3 generations.

Carry on.

Simply left propagandas, there was not one recount that gave gore the lead. official or unofficial.

That's because you worked in the banking world AFTER HUD's Clinton-era bad loan mandates were already in place.

Actually, it was the highly irresponsible Clinton-era HUD lending mandates that caused the 2008 mortgage meltdown and subsequent financial crisis:

It's certainly not attending one of the priciest private schools in Hawaii.

Many compare him to Carter and Nixon.
Perhaps the most alarming part of this is that - as far as I'm aware - those two didn't have such a polarizing effect on the country; they didn't call US citizens "enemies" and "terrorists" and have their supporters back them on that behavior. And most importantly, they didn't have a significant mindless cult following ignoring or defending all their transgressions like Obama has, and their supporters couldn't call legitimate criticisms "racist."
